didn't like the manager Avinash answer to me when I asked if they had cups as they had run out and told me if I go but them he would reimburse me. other than that they staff was incredible
The location has no staff. The hotel sends you your room number and door code prior to arrival. Overall, the property was clean. You can catch a nice view of the city on the 8th floor patio. There’s a lot of common area spaces to enjoy. There’s no parking. There is a parking garage around the corner but you have to leave your keys. The area felt safe. Overall it wasn’t worth the money but they say it’s NY.
This was a great, spacious room in a convenient area - close to subway & bus stops. The coded entry worked great and felt very safe. Plus, the rooftop patios offered terrific views of Manhattan.
I wished for a coffee maker and a blow dryer, but found a wonderful bagel shop down the street with friendly service and good coffee that totally made up for those minor inconveniences.
Would definately stay here again!
Thank for stay!
I stayed when it was Sonder nothing changed
I know what I’m booking and it checks boxes private, clean, modern , style
I hade room with balcony and balcony was bigger than I expected. Was a vibe it was my bday and me and partner happy we chose location for stay
I can’t remember property manager name but thank you again
Starting with great communications, location 10 minutes away from 42nd Times Square, great restaurants in LIC and Astoria. Quiet and safe area. What I loved the most is the self-check in. I would stay again @ The Dutch ( Sonder) - #onelove Popi

Definitely get what you pay for here. Served its purpose for a quick trip to Queens where location convenience was needed. Not having any staff on site was very off putting as several issues came up that there was essentially no customer support for.

Room and location was good. There is NO STAFF so if you have any issues it’s hard to solve them and there is no early check in. We had to wait 2h until 4pm to get the code to the room.
The check in and out was very simple. The hotel is clean and the room. It's self check in so make sure you get your access code via your email or check the Expedia message center for updated info. Parking is available on the street. There's stores and restaurants not too far in the area so you should be ok unless you want a specific restaurant then you will have to go a little further in long island city.

TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. A horrendous experience trying to do anything about managing your reservation and zero follow through on service.
I want to start this by saying that the facilities and onsite staff when present were lovely - the problem is the lack of registration desk and terrible online support that made this stay so irritating.
I booked this place for my Dad visiting New York as I had some work going on in my apartment for the first two days of him landing and I wanted to make sure he was comfortable before I hosted him. He was put into a room with no working AC, I was met with very understanding hotel staff who ensured me he would either be moved to an upgraded room the following morning as compensation, or I would receive a 30% discount on my bill.
Neither of those things happened, there was no follow through after this on either of those options, and after emailing support three days ago they are leaving me hanging. This model of no reception desk has clearly not been working for them and it’s a shame because the premises are genuinely very solid. The view on the roof is also exceptional, but this experience has ensured that I will not be booking another ‘receptionless’ hotel again.

Very close to the subways and easy to get around. The room was cute and comfy
This stay was more than I could have asked for. After reading previous comments I was a little hesitant but had already booked. Upon arriving early we waited outside the building luckily for us a kind gentleman allowed us into the building. After we waited in the lobby area for approximately 30mins we were greeted by I believe his name was Michael. He checked us in and provided us our codes for the rooms. The views from the 8th floor terrace are phenomenal and worth the stay alone. For my family and I this place was perfect. Queensboro plaza is a short walk to the subway entrance and perfect location to travel anywhere you wish.

Only issue I had was the main elevator was extremely slow, also my room was just outside the elevator and staircase- room could use a little more sound proofing. Staff were amazing, hotel was clean and quiet.
