"It’s a gem! The family and staff tending the hotel could not be more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great and even though the hotel is small the rooms are large and very comfortable. Beautiful place!!"
"Casa Carolina is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Cartagena’s Old City. The location is unbeatable—you can walk everywhere and never need an Uber. With only 15 rooms, it feels like staying in a private home, and the pool is gorgeous.
The staff and service were amazing—truly one of the highlights of our stay.
A few things to note: the wellness-style menu is healthy but doesn’t offer many snack options. Street performers outside (especially drummers) can be very loud at night, though...
"Kind, courteous staff. Only stayed here one night when arriving in Cartagena before heading to the islands. Wish we had come back here for the second part of our trip in Cartagena. Convenient location to lively nightlife, restaurants, etc yet no right on the corner and rooms are away from the street so they are *quiet* at night. "
"Cartagena Legends is in a walkable area. In Calle Larga you find plenty of restaurants near the hotel at literally steps away. We would dine at Macarena which was next door and it had great WiFi."
"We really loved our stay at Casa Moraira. The rooms are spacious and the decorations are beautiful. The small pool and hammock were perfect to take a nap in the afternoon heat. The homemade breakfasts were amazing, you felt like you were eating at home, very cozy. The location in the heart of Getsemaní was perfect as well. My only suggestion would be to make the bathrooms a bit bigger and decorate them as beautiful as the rest of the house!"
