Hotel Mystays Premier Narita

"This hotel is close to Narita, making it a great day-of arrival or day-before departure hotel. It also has a shuttle going to and from the mall and then to the airport which was really nice for those needing to grab essentials or food as there isn’t anything close. We drove, so parking was easy and they validate as long as you’re staying! It was ¥400 a night. The lobby is really nice with a Family Mart and the employees were awesome, The absolute con of this hotel was the condition. It’s obviously used by many and has travelers in and out of it constantly, but our room was in bad shape. The walls in the hall and room were super scuffed and dirty, the chairs in the room were dirty and old, the room smelled like cigarettes but it was non-smoking, power dipped quite a bit, carpet and sheets had stains, and the bathroom floor was dirty along with black mold all over. For a quick night stay, this hotel would be fine but anything above that, this hotel is getting a workout and it’s showing. Lots of tour groups as well, so the elevators are very busy!"

"The room was very spacious by Japanese standards. My husband and I felt embarrassed because we had warned our kids that Japanese rooms are small! The beds were arranged in a thoughtful way. We liked the fact that there were 2 toilets (one in sink/shower room and one in its own room). The room was dated, and there was a slightly musty smell in the stand-alone toilet that could not be ignored. We made good use of the scented spray that we packed for such moments. Overall, the property was convenient for us overnight travellers en route to Osaka. We liked the fact that there was a free shuttle to/from the airport. The best part…no waiting for hours! That bus was on time, every time, every 20 minutes. We were also able to send one of our large suitcases ahead to another hotel using their freight service. Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and impeccably organized. Check in and check out was a breeze. Thank you Expedia and Hotel Nikko. We will stay with you again!"

"The free shuttle van was way too crowded so were weren't able to ever get in. 1-ply toilet paper. The dinner served was nothing but pasta dishes. Breakfast buffet was good. The bathroom could use a good cleaning. The staff were very helpful. The male restaurant employee, Yoshida, was awesome! We liked him. The coffee shop closes early so no hot coffee - had to just buy cold coffee at the 7-11 store."

"This is my eighth time staying at this hotel over the past three years. I always returned because it was impeccably clean and the breakfast was wonderful. However, the cleanliness of the rooms has declined significantly and the quality of offerings at breakfast buffet has also declined. After this most recent stay I was so disappointed I will most likely be considering other hotels in the vicinity next time I’m in the area. The room is also uncomfortably warm with no way to lower the temperature."
