"Our stay was great. The staff was great. It was raining but we still had a great time. The room felt huge and was comfortable with heat and air. The curtains worked great. It's great to have an entire grill area to yourself. Just bring some food to grill. There's a small market within walking distance (.5mile) that has things like deer sausage and veggies. There's also a restaurant next to the market. You'll have to walk to get here or take a taxi but the bus stops are about half a mile away. We only had backpacks so walking through the countryside was a nice and relaxing treat for us. "

"Such an amazing place. Gora Kadan Fuji is a truly magical hotel. The rooms are perfect, comfortable and clean. I loved the tub next to the bathroom that was always full of hot water and with a lovely sound. Norika, the manager goes above and beyond with attention to her guests. Very warm and welcoming. "This is a very interesting property. We visited to glimpse Fujisan but were denied. The property is dated but has obvious charm with typical japanese 70s style architecture. The outdoor onsen is very nice. Not crowded even on a weekend. Food was really fabulous. There is good entertainment in the evening and plenty of little clubs to drink wine. I recommend this place"
