The service and the team at Hotel Kaneyamaen was only surpassed by the amazing morning views of Fuji while soaking in our private hot spring onsen. What a joy and a privilege to stay at such a wonderful property with attentive, kind, lovely staff!
Staff was very polite and give you tour of the hotel. They also deliver your luggage to your room when you arrive.
Shuttle service from various stations nearby was very useful. We enjoyed our stay here
Perfect onsen hotel with lots of experience you could do. Perfect Fuji Mountain View from the hotel and from the room. Dinner and breakfast are both delicious, while buffet breakfast offers lots of Japanese and western food options. Overall I would highly recommmend this hotel to everyone.
This was an amazing experience with spectacular views and impeccable service. Spotless, spacious rooms. Wish we had stayed more than one night. Having our own private onsen was awesome! You won't regret staying here no matter your age or number of people!

The roof top hot springs has to be the best view you can ever ask for. We loved everything about this stay. Best hotel we’ve been to. The staff were amazing!! We definitely didn’t want to leave and would 100% come back.
excellent customer service. Make you feel like home and be able to enjoy the hotel amenities. They make you feel so special, and the in-room hot spring onsen was beautiful with Mt. Fuji View. We love every moment we were there.

Beautiful big onsen hotel with Mt Fuji view, great food & lovely Japanese garden that is well-kept. Staff were welcoming the moment we arrived & on our departure ready to help with our luggage. We had free access to wine lounge & we enjoyed the wine tasting, their iced cocoa & Godiva ice cream were yummy. Nightly there were drum performance & bingo games 👍
There was a lot of activities at the property. Even if I didn't go outside, there was enough things to do at the hotel that we cut our plans short to make sure we were back at the hotel early. Property was well-kept and clean.
An excellent Japanese experience with an eight course dinner every night and an amazing breakfast buffet. The Japanese hospitality and service is legendary at these ryokens.
It’s a 10/10 for this amazing hotel . The service, food, ambiance, relaxation how everyone makes you feel and how happy you can be in a space this gorgeous will leave you feeling awesome . I was so impressed by this hotel.
This place was an amazing experience. I would love to come back again. Everything: the public and private onsens, the quiet and privateness, the meals, the overall attention and care of the staff, the rooms, and the entire property - all of it was a wonderful experience! Highly, highly recommend.
A memorable stay in this hotel during our family's Japan vacation. The Japanese traditional Kaiseki dinner is the highlight, followed by drum show. Hotel has a beautiful garden sterches out acres with rich vegetation and architectural details. Wine bar provides nice coffee, snacks and wine tasting. I only wish the breakfast doesnt close that early (9am).
The friendliness of the hotel staff, the dinner and the private dining rooms, the hotel garden and our Sanri Suite were all great.
Only the large breakfast room could be a little cosier; two rooms would be even better, as the hotel is quite large. However, the food selection was very good.
Outstanding in all respects
Far exceeded expectations for a large hotel Onsen. Wonderful views of Mt Fuji from room and private open air onsen. Great kaiseki dinners. Traditional Tailo drummers an unexpected delight. Service extraordinary in true sense of ometanashi.
Rooms spacious and grounds spectacular
This is a very interesting property. We visited to glimpse Fujisan but were denied. The property is dated but has obvious charm with typical japanese 70s style architecture. The outdoor onsen is very nice. Not crowded even on a weekend. Food was really fabulous. There is good entertainment in the evening and plenty of little clubs to drink wine. I recommend this place
Great experience! Absolutely worth going to! Beautiful atmosphere, gardens, amenities, it felt like a scene from a movie, loved it all. For sure stay for a minimum of 2 days to really enjoy what they have to offer
