Lovely spot with Mountain View

Fantastic little spot near the mountain, woman who looked after us was super friendly and kind! Can’t recommend it here enough if you’re passing through the area and want a good place not far from the sights!

Incredible little spot

I never would have believed that the best meal of my Japan trip would be French food cooked in the shadow of Mt. Fuji, but life is funny sometimes. This place is FANTASTIC! From passing Google translate back and forth with the sweet proprietor, to soaking in the private onsen after a long day of walking, to watching Mt. Fuji out my hotel window, I loved every second of staying here. The location is fantastic as well - it's about a 10-minute walk from the touristy areas of lake Yamanaka, but that small distance makes all the difference in terms of peace and quiet at the end of the day. Can't recommend this place enough. And again: get the dinner package!!

Absolutely loved it!

We could not speak a word of Japanese and they had no English but that didn't take away from the amazing stay we had. Beautiful and hospitable people who took such good care of us. We had an amazing breakfast in the morning. Home cooked and very cosy. The onsen / spa is fantastic.

あいにくの雨で、富士山は見えなかったが、車さえあれば、山にも湖にも近いので、絶好な場所です。女将さんは優しく、朝食は大満足でした。お風呂も貸切状態でゆっくり入浴できるので、とても快適でした。
