"Nice new hotel located just a short walk from train station. Friendly service, clean and with a surprisingly spacious room. Good place to stay if you are looking to spend the night in Uji"
"Lovely hotel within few minutes from the main train station. Easy access, close yet hidden from the sounds of the city.
Room with a kitchen annex and washer-dryer was amazing. Aircon delivered well. Fresh towels everyday.
Breakfast was the only downside- whioenfoof looked very attractive and well balanced, there was not much consideration for vegetarians. Panini or soups served without allowing any choice or even asking if vegetarian options are required. Would be really nice if it was...
"Outstanding. Best hotel in a 3-week trip, directly across from train station yet quiet. Very good and large Japanese breakfast, laundry onsite, free coffee/tea/snacks. Super friendly staff and walkable to many places too, and you get a large room (not the norm for Japan). "
"Great 3 star hotel , apart hotel. Positioned conveniently close to two stations plus if you are not afraid of walking 2 km, you'll be in Kyoto Station. Very friendly and helpful staff, always willing to help. Definitely stay again in the future "

"Well overall it is ok. Double meals was unexpected better than one can think.
Don't forget to prepare for Kyoto accommodation tax. I wish I could have paid together from the beginning.
However it is quite far from subway station so be mindful."
