Great efficiency units in a good location

We stayed 5 nights... the location is good, but not superb. If you like to walk (we do), it's perfect... otherwise you'll be riding the bus to get to a train station. We walked most days to EMMACHI JR station and then connected to subway lines downtown - a 15min walk with kids. If you're headed to Arishiyama, EMMACHI or the green JR line both work with a short walk. Local markets around hotel are ok... but closest proper grocery store only opens at 10am and is pretty small. We loved walking the local side streets and sampling food from the garage-come-family-restaurants. All in all, great value. Walls are very, very thin.

今回は長期滞在で３週間くらい宿泊させていただきました。 総合的には満足してますが…細かい事を言えば ①タオル類の交換がなく毎日自分で洗濯しなくてはならない事。 タオルが古いせいなのかゴワゴワしてて匂いが臭い。 ②洗濯物を干す場所がないって事。(ベランダを利用してましたが干場が低い) 下着類を干す物がないので不便。 ③キッチンの排水口の匂いが臭い。 ④コップゃ食器類はありますが、外人用なのか？全てが大きい物ばかりで使いずらい。 私は長期滞在って事もありほぼ自炊してたのでもぅちょっと食器類が充実するといいﾅｧ～って思いました。出来ればIHがもぅ１つあるといいです。 ⑤洗濯機の陰が汚れがひどいのでもぅ少しキレイに掃除してほしい。 ですが、スタッフさんの対応も良く、トータル的に過ごしやすかったので満足してます。 すぐ隣にコンビニがあり、斜め向かいに駐車場があり、目の前にはバス停もあるので便利です。 ※駐車場ですが毎月25日は普段の倍以上の料金とられてビックリ！(笑) また宿泊させていただきます♪

We enjoyed our stay

Nice people nice place close to transport you could catch a bus to the nearest train station right at your front door, or a bus to kyoto a couple of blocks away making it easy to get to all the famous temples and shrines. Handy to convenience stores and supermarket.

リビング、キッチン、洗面所は広く、冷蔵庫も大きめだったので、快適でした。洗面所には洗濯機、洗剤、乾燥機、アイロン、アイロン台が備わっており、キッチンも調理道具等が備わっており、家族づれにはオススメです。

The room was smaller than we expected, it was hassle free and everything was provided. There was no elevator but staff took our bags up to the third floor for us. Also, we could hear our neighbors at night but other than that we had a good experience.

Excellent hotel-like VRBO with amenities

Good room layout and quality, including a small kitchenette and decent space, especially with 5 people in our family. Front desk person was helpful although not always on site. Dryer wasn't working well but convenient to have a washer in the room and dryer on the floor, plus wifi included and luggage storage. Location was not exactly central and required a 15 minute bus ride to most major sites, although Kyoto is very spread out anyway. Overall we would recommend it and would stay there again.

おおむね快適に過ごせました。

部屋はワンルームマンションなので家族４人で過ごすには広くはないですがまずまず快適でした。 小さい子がいるので、洗濯機が あるのは助かりましたが、洗面所に干すところがあればもっと助かります。 キッチンは清潔でよく清掃されていた印象でした。 リビングはおしゃれのためか 木の板が横向きに並べてある机でしたので、陶器のカップのバランスが悪く倒れて割ってしまいました。なので、朝食時に珈琲などを飲むのにも雑誌の上に乗せていました。出来たら底の広いカップか、お盆かテーブルの上にアクリル板があるとよかったです。小さいお子さんも使用すると思うので コップも割れにくいものを希望します。洗面所にコップがないため陶器のコップを使うのも子供は危なかったです。トイレットペーパーも高い場所にあるため、簡単な足台があれば助かります。 今回は車でしたが 交通面はバス停は烏丸、大宮行きは目の前から、京都駅や市役所までなら千本中立売まで 歩いて10分圏内にバス停があるためかなり便利です。 コンビニはすぐ横にあり スーパーは千本中立売バス停側(100均もあります)や徒歩５分先に商店街が。 駐車場は斜め前にあります。 だいたい料金は 16:00～10:00 だいたい￥1700かかりました。

clean isolated studio apartment style accomodation

place is not central as others said, but i drove so that didnt matter for me. Parking was right opposite and was a 50m walk to the hotel. A Lawson minmart right beside for you to buy any snacks or stuff at night. Room was clean. There was even a washing machine which I used to do a bit of laundry, though it may be worthy to note there is limited space to hang it out in the very very small bar at the aircon ledge area. in general: pros: clean, washing machine, quiet location, minimart beside, simple checkout process cons: no lift so need to climb stairs, not central location so may be a problem for non-driving travellers otherwise, I had a good stay from my point of view.
