We had a couples massage that felt like it shaved ten years off both therapists were fantastic. The thermal pool was beautiful and impeccably clean, making it the perfect place to relax. "This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby.
We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. "

"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. "Staff was great. Very friendly. I've stayed at 4 hotels this trip to Japan. This staff was the best at recommending things to do and what to see given the short amount of time I had in Kyoto. They even helped give me good tips to get back to Kyoto station via train with my luggage. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. The location was a concern at first, but it was a great location getting home at the end of the day and also not too far from the forrest. Really appreciated...
