"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "

"This place is just amazing in every way. The view from our room overlooking the kamo river is very picturesque. The layout of the room is very well designed and the room is huge and tastefully decorated. The location is close to the subway and minimarts. Love the microwave, the 2 televisions, and the washing machine.

"We spent 1 night at this traditional Japanese inn. Our room was great and it was a wonderful experience to stay somewhere with tatami mats and sleep on futons. The riverside hotel is located in the most stunning, quiet, and peaceful forest. We enjoyed exploring the quiet beauty of it. We chose the half board rate which gave us supper and breakfast. The traditional food was delicious and very filling and eating riverside while it was raining was a highlight of our family trip to Japan. We did not...
