Had a wonderful stay! The room was super clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, and the bar had a great atmosphere. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I’d definitely stay here again!

Fantastic hotel. Rooms were very nice. Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. Lounge and lobby area not only beautiful but very stylish, with wonderful cocktails. Location could not have been better. 5 minute walk to Gion or central Kyoto. Steps from a subway station also. Highly recommend.

A Peaceful, Elegant Haven in Kyoto Our stay at Dhawa Yura Kyoto (Oct 8–10) exceeded all expectations. The subtle, welcoming fragrance as you walk in sets the tone for a sparkling clean and serene experience. The service was flawless—the staff were exceptionally warm, efficient, and eager to help with anything we needed. We loved the aesthetic of our room, which felt authentically traditional while seamlessly integrating top-tier modern amenities. Plus, the location is unbeatable—a short walk to key transit hubs, great shopping, and delicious dining options. We can't wait to return!

We booked a premier room with a king bed and this room and hotel was my favorite of all the hotels we stayed in Japan for our six week holiday. The room was spacious, huge comfortable bed , excellent powerful shower. The breakfast area was set in a delightful area and you could choose how you like your eggs cooked.There is a nicely laid out bar where you can have your welcome drink, it also has a small area to relax and have a free coffee which is available 24hrs. The position is in a great location with a metro station close by and walking distance to plenty of restaurants. This is a very well presented professional hotel and I would definitely come back here.

Great stay! 5/5 stars!! Got to check in early, rooms were extremely clean, walkable distances to many restaurants and many more. Did not have a single complaint. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our only regret was not staying longer to enjoy all the amenities this hotel offered. Would definitely book again and again when we visit Kyoto next time. See you soon

The hotel was beautiful. Very clean, well kept, and located very conveniently 2 minutes from a subway station. The staff was very helpful. We liked it so much that we cancelled another hotel we had and extended our stay by an additional night.
