"The trum wasn't working so it was very quiet. The location is near the train station, but it takes about 30-40 min walk to the old town. Or need to take trum from train station with EUR 3 for single ticket/6 for round ticket/9 for day ticket. Very few place for food nearby.
The room was nice and clean. We had problem with the drain in shower, but second day we met the cleaning person, she solved the problem although she couldn't understand English.

The building has an amusing maze-like structure of stairways and hallways. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the Gent-Dampoort train station and only about a five minute walk to the central part of the scenic old town with shops, restaurants, and historic buildings.
