"Room was recently upgraded, clean and functional. Staff were very friendly and helpful The breakfast was very good!! The location is perfect for travelling by train to different cities...We could simply cross the street and be at the train station...We used Antwerp as our base camp!!"

"Our latest stay at the Holiday Inn Ghent was wonderful from start to finish. The moment we arrived, the staff were very helpful and welcoming which made check-in smooth and stress-free. The hotel also offers easy parking which was very convenient for us. The room was clean, comfortable, and the bed was very cosy, giving us a great night’s sleep. We also loved the free coffee machine in the room — such a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices to enjoy in the morning. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and would gladly recommend Holiday Inn Ghent to anyone visiting the area. We would definitely stay again!"

"This hotel is conveniently close to Antwerp Central Station and all main tourist attractions. Check in was very easy and efficient. The room was very clean and we were to the rear of the property so it was very quiet. The bed was just divine. So comfortable and a great size. Great selection at breakfast with freshly cooked options available. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend."

"Parking was an additional 20 Euros per day. Breakfast was an additional 25 Euros per person per day (29 Euros if not booked through reception). No bath despite the room being described as “perfect for families”. Obviously never tried to shower two babies. Not near Ghent nor close to any convenient travel options (closest Tram is 20 minute walk away)"

"I do like this hotel, despite the hiccup(s) we had at the onset of check-in. I would like to send a thank you to Ilayda, who eventually got us checked into our room. She went well above and beyond and it did not go unnoticed. She not only corrected the issues but also made up for the mishaps, immediately. Ilayda wanted to assure us that our stay at Ghent Marriott Hotel, would be as great as we expected it…and because of her, it finally was. Our room was nice and spacious. Staff is nice and friendly. Breakfast was good, I just wished they served waffles as part of the buffet breakfast. We sat at the bar 2 nights in a row, and had drinks…the lobby/bar area is beautiful. Victoria, did check on us after we checked out of our room, as we sat in the lobby waiting for our ride to the train station. She did seem very genuine, in asking about our stay…which I appreciate. However, Ilayda saved the day and our stay. "
