Lots of choice of restaurant bars etc in different areas. Some upmarket some cafe style. Food markets were amazing. Beach nicely looked after. Lots of tuks tuks for transport all done with smiles. Thai people were so friendly and helpful.

Lots of good but reasonably priced seafood restaurants and friendly bars. Thai massage incredibly cheap. Night market is good fun for a stroll to find a souvenir or two. Everything within an easy walk around the centre of the town.

Tide was very high during our stay which made the beach walking challenging. But we made it with wet clothes and wall climbing, and a stretch along the road. The Ba Ri Bot at the far end is a must for a beer after an 18000 step walk.

Try and find a street food seller called "john" that does fried chicken and get yourself to tiger toy street bar for a beer or 2. Father teds for live music every night bangkok beetles on a Wednesday are quite entertaining (pre book for a good seat)

The best weather in Thailand for golf. I just wish the construction project on the sidewalks was finished. Hopefully, it will be a much more walkable town next high season.

"The entrance area is uniquely and gorgeously decorated. The staff is polite, friendly, and very helpful. The rooms are amazingly beautiful, with a private pool in the other section connecting to the bedroom. The breakfast buffet provides a big selection of various foods and drinks. They are all delicious. The hotel pool area is charming, big, and clean, and also connected to the beach. I really love this place. "
