Regardless of money (which this is way cheaper), this beats out all of the other Fairfield Marriott's in the US. The artwork, decor, amenities, food, were all terrific. For the money, and location in VSIP 1, this is hard to beat. I normally stay in Saigon, but was sick of the long drives to where I work so this saves a lot of time commuting. It isn't however the best for nightlife or any other activities besides an Aeon mall close by or Song Be golf club. But, amazing, cheap food can be found all around if you take a taxi or grab and venture out a bit.
Clean, friendly and professional staff. We enjoyed our stay during a work visit. We definitely will be back for future stays during business trips.
Shout out to Ellie at the pool bar who is proficient, kind and remembers her guests.
Nice service from the staff, like on a 5* hotel. Comfortable beds, but missing a desk in the room to work from instead of a (too) high coffee table.
Breakfast is good but the room is crowded and it can be hard to get a table. There is nothing to do in the area, but you can take a Grap to the EON mall nearby.
My favourite place to stay in Vietnam. It’s a corporate hotel and there is not much within walking distance. But it’s a $3 cab ride to a modern mall. The hotel has a nice pool, the staff is friendly and helpful, and I thoroughly enjoy the breakfast buffet. The rooms are new and clean, and the shower has good water pressure and temperature. There is also a very nice massage place on premises. It’s $25cdn for an hour massage. Strong recommend. The gym is small but good. Location is the only complaint. But it’s nice to be out of the chaos of Saigon in some ways too.
The property and the staff is very nice, they are also flexible to your requests. the only thing is about the location, kind off far from the city but good for bussiness travellers
Stayed at Fairfield by Marriott South Binh Duong. My electronic toothbrush was fine on day one, broken after housekeeping on day two. Hotel Management’s reply? “We cannot determine when or how.” That’s not accountability, that’s avoidance. For a global brand, this is embarrassing.
