the old xuan loc is old..I am surprised is take over by lavender group.they under going new renovation and it is much better than many of the hotel around it..Do not take t.espoir hotel..you better off sleeping on the floor than it's bed..xuan loc (lavender) not too bad

Lavender, a real gem.

One thing that stands out with this hotel is the cleanliness. The breakfast was better than Asian normal, really enjoyed it. Staff were great, Not the cheapest in town but good value for money.

Outside and inside sounds really disturbed us both nights up until 3PM. Apart from that the hotel is nice and we liked their breakfasts both days. Wifi was excellent one night, almost nonexistent the other.

The location is ok. As for the room, its not even clean especially the beddings. They dont even changed it after someone check out. If we didnt notice the markings and told them about it, i dont think they would even change it. The shower is the worse, the shower head is on the side in which if you open the water would go to the fall and its so low that u have to bend when taking a shower. They dont even have a hot water. Im not sure what time do they have hot shower, but it should be always available anytime you use the shower. Their wifi is too slow and their staff doesnt even understand english much. And it takes almost an hour or sometimes they wont inform you if you request like extra pillow or something.

3 mins to Ben Than Market

I booked 5 rooms for 4 nights (16th - 20th Dec 2017). Room assigned, 207/307/703/704 & 705. We did not get all in one floor but its ok. Our 1st night very noisy with Karaoke from next building. Breakfast is good with many choices and staff very helpful. If you looking for quiet and privacy, do not stay in this hotel on Saturday night.

Great different between premier and suite room of

Hotel is located right in the middle of District 1 Ho Chi Minh City that allows no problem at all to tour around scenic area and restaurant/arcades within just a few minutes of walking. It was a big different of premier grade room in two beds and no window with suite room in king size bed and city view. Lavender Hotel would be a good choice when especially you are travelling Vietnam for the first time.
