"Rooms clean and common areas. Free coffee should run longer in morning. Not a huge fan of the self check in. Seemed impersonal, do want to feel like someone was there and attentive."

"Room was clean. Staff was nice. Wouldn’t recommend paying extra for the balcony rooms the balcony was extremely small. no chairs or anything out there we didn’t even end up using it. Our AC unit was broken it was just blowing out luke warm air on a 90 degree day outside. was brutal. brought it to staffs attention they said they’d take a look at it tomorrow but that was the day we were checking out so that didn’t really help us. Overall besides AC was a nice experience "

"Female/ travelling solo/ stayed here for 6 nights. Highly recommend. Location is fantastic with major subway lines a stone's throw from the hotel. Right off Herald Sq so there's plenty of people and foot traffic (but not crazy like Times Sq area). Numerous places to eat close by. Easy to get to many NYC attractions by foot or subway. "The room was really clean and comfy - I slept really well and the room was a good size for three of us, with two double beds and three big suitcases. The location was convenient and I liked that it was close to stores for drinks and snacks, as well as a cute little coffee shop. The front desk and security folks were great."
