"Room and property appeared run down. Broken patio door, leaking shower head, broken toilet seat. Bathroom faucet was loose. Room overlooked equipment area so even though it was a “gulf view” it was dirty and noisy and they did a poor job trying to cover the equipment. This was very subpar from what I would expect from a Hilton Property and won’t stay there again"

"The staff seemed completely unprepared for Mother’s Day weekend. We were told that we could check in early and then when our room is ready, they would give us a call at 4 PM. 4 PM comes around no call. 5 PM comes around no call. We call the hotel and they tell us we have to come back in and register again. "I love this hotel and the location. Right across the street from the beautiful beach. Great views of the sunsets."

"We had a “Gulf view” but it actually overlooked the parking lot and then you could see the gulf. The beach wasn’t a private beach which I now know to look for before booking. Chairs were $50 a day so it was either pay $50 or sit on a towel. The menus at the restaurants were essentially all the same. Aside from that the kids had a great time in the pools and hot tubs and especially loved free ice cream every day"

"From the time we arrived - when I did seek clarification - the wifi was both spotty and slow or simply wouldn’t connect at all. Using the neighbouring restaurant shouldn’t be required spending this kind of price range and it seems incongruous when seen in the context of the overall experience. "This hotel is in a great location with a private beach. The pool area is well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Close to a lot of activities. The only real drawback is Shepherd’s Resort next door with their nightclub that goes until 2 AM in the morning on Friday and Saturday nights. "
