"No matter how good the amenities or how beautiful the views, a hotel is only as good as the people who work there. In this respect, Shanti’s friendly, polite and efficient staff elevate it to among the best on the island. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. "

"Overall, I had a great stay at The Residence Mauritius and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, the service was warm, and the beach is simply spectacular—without doubt one of the hotel's greatest assets.
That said, there are areas where I believe the hotel could improve. The biggest disappointment was the food at the main buffet. The quality was average, and on some occasions even below average. For a five-star resort in Mauritius, this was...

"We had the best and most relaxing time! Everyone of the staff was super friendly and helpful. The whole resort is very well kept. We enjoyed the food in the main restaurant and the beach a lot for both breakfast and dinner. There was plenty of options to choose from and also a dedicated GF offer.
Water and beach is amazing, we did the SUP, snorkeling but also just enjoyed a dip in the ocean.
Also enjoyed the Latte Art Class with Eesha and Abi at the Maison Lux.
Highly recommended stay!"
