The crew consisted of Captain Miguel and the diving guide Jorge. Great people. On the way, drinks and snacks were served. Lugar fantástico para mergulhar de snorkel. Água morna e límpa. The view from our room was excellent. The staff was top-notch. The whole property was very clean. The dive operation functioned like clockwork. It might be time for some light maintenance here and there, but everything functions as it should. Perfect place for divers. Maybe not so perfect for a non-diving wife, lol.

Staff was excellent, location very nice, room kindof old looking and sparsely furnished. Other than beds no seating. No coffee pot, or microwave. There is a mini fridge and restaurant. Plenty of outdoor seatong and many guests were napping on outdoor furniture, most likely because it is more comfortable than the beds. I chose this location because the review was 9.6 on the site i saw it on. I am guessing the high review is from the many divers who frequent it. If you want the dive location outside your door, maybe you would overlook the room. Also, no elevator, so be prepared to used stairs throughout.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with an incredible view from the balcony. The view from the restaurant was likewise incredible, and though I was only able to eat there once, the food (and drinks) were quite good. The free use of beach towels was a very nice perk, as many hotels upcharge you for towel rental. There are drinking water dispensers on every floor, so it's easy to stay hydrated. The live music on Wednesdays is great! The singer has an amazing voice; I'm very glad I got to hear her. The pool is refreshing, and the dock makes it easy to jump in the water for some swimming or snorkeling. The location isn't very walkable, but it's easy to take a taxi to town if you aren't up for the mile-or-so walk. One thing to note is that this is a 4-story building without an elevator, so depending on where your room is, you might have a lot of stairs to climb. I unfortunately got sick during my stay, so I wasn't able to enjoy the amenities as much as I'd have liked. I hope I get the chance to make up for it on a future visit!

Food was very good and fresh with large portions. Staff were amazing and very friendly. Grounds were under construction and the outdoor furniture was pretty shabby. Overall good value.

We visited Blue Angel for a week. The dive shop is located on property. You walk to the end of the dock to catch the boat each morning. Shore diving is included The restaurant is excellent. Friendly staff who make it a point to learn your names & welcome you each time you visit. We ate the majority of our meals at the resort because of the excellent food and laid-back atmosphere. We truly felt like VIPs! (Special shout out to Diego, Armando, & Jared) We enjoyed a made to order breakfast each morning of our stay.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It has a homey vibe. The room was clean and bed was comfortable, even the pillows, which is unusual! Housekeeping comes in each day and leaves clean towels and remakes our bed, even though we tried. Well organized with bills and check in and out.

We stayed on the first floor with a patio/ lawn walk out entrance. I read a few reviews before we arrived about noise from crews unloading oxygen tanks every morning but our room was pretty quiet. Room a bit musty, dingy, bathroom very small, to be expected for price point, room was not a priority for us. Staff were approachable, helpful. Food at the restaurant was a highlight. Big portions, fresh ingredients, great atmosphere. You can order on the lawn or to your patio if you ask. Renting a scooter or car through the front desk is just renting through the well-known local company HTL with a significant upcharge. If you have time, plan ahead through HTL directly. Rocky water access, water shoes are a must. Loved our stay. Would definitely return.

Always the best, ty! Only thing I’d change is I miss how the wait staff ito come down to the pool and service they don’t do that anymore and there’s not enough chairs and tables at the pool anymore but hopefully they’ll fix that. It looks like they’re working on things. Still very charming the Dive Shop is first class. Just needs a little bit of attention to the details. Hopefully when they’re done with the construction, it’ll all come together again.

Staff are very helpful and kind, food is good for breakfast and lunch, didn't try dinner. Rooms are very good for the price and the location is fabulous for diving and swimming. Facility is tired and could use some investment but overall very pleased based on value.

Had an outstanding experience at Blue Angle Resort. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Breakfast was amazing liked that we could order anything off the breakfast menu. Room was clean. Staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING… The owner Eva was around most nights hanging out and getting to know everyone that was staying there. She’s one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Always making sure everyone had everything they needed. Will definitely be going back and staying there again!!!!

They charge double of all other diving organizations. Than when I tried to get adjustment they could not explain why I was charged that amount

It was exactly what we were looking for. Beachfront. Breakfast was good. Pool was perfect size to cool off and hang out in. Really enjoyed our stay.

As a scuba diver this property is perfect. Has a dock for dive boats,you can do a shallow water dive right off the dock and dive shop on property. The entire staff of the hotel,restaurant and dive shop were fantastic. The property is a little run down but it did not bother me or my wife. Room were clean and comfortable.

Property is in a convenient location to amenities and activities. All rooms have an ocean view. Restaurant serves good food. Good entertainment in the evening. Staff were friendly and helpful. Street noise is loud throughout the day, improves overnight and starts again early in morning with loading of the scuba cylinders.
