"If you were only staying for one or two nights in Chachagua, then this motel might suit you fine, please be highly aware of their nonrefundable policy. I made the mistake of booking this hotel for two weeks so that I had a homebase for my entire stay in Costa Rica. When I realize that I was not very happy staying there, I was unable to cancel or get refunded for my unused nights."

"Pros : great location, delicious breakfast, beautiful grounds with plantations. Cons cabins have no insulation , therefore you can hear everything from the outside. Earplugs is must to have for better sleep. "

"This was an absolutely fabulous place to stay for many reasons. The breakfast is excellent and if you get it included in your room, it’s an extraordinary value. The staff are wonderful and always seem to have a smile for you. The front desk staff, especially Astin, are helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you get what you need. The grounds are impeccable. They keep them very well groomed and it’s an absolute joy to walk around to see the tropical plants, birds and little lizards and how beautiful they keep their property. It feels like a true tropical oasis. After a great day of fun activities, you always get to come back to a fabulous full-size pool that is extremely clean and very comfortable to sit in the sun just to relax. The location just outside of the downtown is absolutely perfect. you get away from the noise and the hustle and bustle but it’s a six minute walk to all of the restaurants and bars and wonderful downtown of La Fortuna. If you want the perfect location to be very close to all of the excursions and fun you can have, this is the place. A five minute drive to the zip lines, 3 to 4 minutes and you can go sloth hunting, 20 minutes to the volcano park and 25 minutes to the hanging bridges. You couldn’t ask for a better location. My wife and I enjoyed our six nights at Arenal country Inn so much we know we will be back Thanks for making it a perfectly experience"

"Staff was very nice and accommodating. I like that the receptionist / property manager gentleman would walk up to cars to make sure there they were actual guests and there for reason. (He walked up to us parking a few times, especially at night and I appreciated that) The property is beautiful, the bungalow was clean and pretty cool. Pool was great and the AC was pumpin! The property is Close enough to everything yet tucked away from the main road traffic. I would absolutely recommend Jungalo, You won’t be disappointed!! "

"Great location in La Fortuna. Close to restaurants and shops and access to all tours. Lovely grounds with beautiful trees and flowers, plenty of birds and wildlife. Rooms a little dated but functional and clean. Breakfast a little sparse so was only aspect that let it down. However would certainly recommend. "

"The lodge may not look luxurious but the staff make sure you feel like it is. Insuring all your needs are met. The staff were amazing, first class! All meals were a beautiful presentation and they got to know you and then catered to your tastes. He mad my husband a fresh picante sauce. We loved the location. We were looking for some conveniences but preferred a non touristy place. It was perfect for the type of trip we wanted. The sounds of the rainforest surrounds the lodge. We thought it was beautiful!
