"The natural springs had been made into 7 pools with varied water temps and were spent 2 full days enjoying the pools and scenery. This resort is about 45 minutes to la Fortuna and a car is a must to get around but the resort is beautiful and extremely nice staff. We will be back!"

"Room was clean, had a safe, pool was a good size, breakfast included was good and the free entrance to the hot springs at their sister hotel Volcano Lodge was a nice plus. Front desk and breakfast staff were quite lovely, we enjoyed our stay. I'm a light sleeper so I was awaken when someone was checking out around 6am but my room was next to the entrance so theres that! We would stay again :) close proximity to everything was great."

"Highly recommend Villa Heliconia for location, amazing view of volcano, and access to nearby Los Lagos resort. The veranda and hot spring tub were amazing. Santiago was very responsive and arranged several tours for us (white water rafting; suspended bridges; zip lining). Tours picked up right at our villa but we still appreciated having a rental car. I have to make special mention of Diego, who greeted me warmly when I arrived and helped me finalize arrangements to visit two local nature preserves. "We had such a great experience at Eco Arenal. We stayed for 5 nights as a family with three kids and it was perfect. The room was very clean, shower was very modern, beds were comfortable, and we never got tired of the many options available at the daily breakfast. The hotel is an oasis, just close enough to bustle of La Fortuna and all the activities but remote enough where you wake up to the sounds of the monkeys and can see plethora of birds flying around."
