Everything about this place was fantastic. The staff was especially nice and helpful. The grounds were lovely, the pools were wonderful. The room was beautiful and the bed was really comfortable.

Staff were all amazing and helpful, room was amazing throughout., restaurant food, staff, drinks, great. Mario the tour guide highly recommended. The drive there is a bit tough for us from the states but well worth the stay.

This place was incredible! The room was my favorite and I loved that there's hot springs on the property. The staff was very nice and helpful as my friend had an injured leg. Great place to stop by on the way to La Fortuna would go back.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a villa with our own private swimming pool. It was a very pleasant surprise! Beds, sheets, and pillows were super comfy! AC was ice-cold. From the moment we parked our car, our luggage was hand-delivered to our room. Same when it was time to leave. Coffee/cocoa machine in the reception area was a very nice touch. Breakfast was phenomenal! We enjoyed everything about our visit.

We had a fantastic time at Chachagua Rainforest Hotel. The resort is located in beautiful surroundings and we found the staff very helpful and friendly. While the resort felt nestled in remote surroundings, we had easy access to trips and adventures within 30-60 minute drives.

My husband and I stayed at Chachagua rainforest for 5 nights last week; Master Bungalow. The tree houses were sold out ☹️. Such a beautiful, peaceful, safe, and breathtaking resort . The scenery is gorgeous: hot springs, rivers, trees, flowers. Daily housekeeping: linens, towels, bathrobes are replaced by fresh and clean ones. Wonderful staff who payed close attention to our needs: Maria❤️🌸, Enersto, Ericka , Nathalie , Kimberly, Roberto, Gretchen , Emma , Karen. ( sorry I forgot some names). Staff of Thermo et Colibri restaurants; tour guy, the spa’s ladies; thank you💕. Driver Norman; thank you for driving us from Chachagua to Guanacaste safely. Thank you to the wonderful staff of Chachagua Rainforest resort for making our stay so memorable and unforgettable❤️.

Unbelievably amazing stay! The 2 bedroom villa exceeded expectations. It was luxury mixed with lush tropical plants everywhere. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. The drivers and tour guides added to our great experience. We will definitely go back!!

Excellent stay. Food is ok…breakfast and dinner are not that great but breakfast is free. Dinner is not. Other than that, once you hike the volcano and check out the waterfall, there isn’t much else to do in the town so the resort is the most exciting thing to do and will be a highlight of your trip. Let them take you on a sightseeing tour and they’ll spot animals for you that you wouldn’t otherwise see. Horseback riding, coffee tours, etc. truly impeccable place. if they improved the food quality, this place would be a 100/100

I loved the peacefullness of the rainforest. The staff was amazing. The only thing that was not great was the food. They should specials on everyday of the week. I asked for eggs over medium and I got hard eggs. The steak tacos had no flavor and the steak was hard. The only good thing that we ate was the skirt steak with mash and they can put more mash on the plate.

The hotel is so pretty with beautiful rainforest surrounding it. Even with rain all the time during our stay we found it quite comfortable. My kids loved the hot springs and cold plunge pool. It was quite inside the main road compared to other places but we found the drive quite interesting. We did chocolate tour, hikes and yoga at the hotel. Our only request is wish the hotel changed their breakfast menu everyday. With 5 days of stay we were tired of the same food even though they were very good.

Fantastic property and in a beautiful location in the middle of the rainforest. Lots of activity to do in and around the property in the middle of the rainforest - wildlife watching, ziplining, horseback riding, hiking and much more to do. The rooms are also so set in beautiful surroundings right in the middle of nature. Worth the extra expense and highly recommend for couples and families with kids !

This property is amazing!!!!!!! From the time we arrived to the time we left, we had a great time!!! They were very accommodating for us - let us check in early, let us join a last minute tour, and made our anniversary very special. We enjoyed the night hike, day hike, and coffee/chocolate tour. The hot springs were amazing and an added bonus with 2 slides!!!
