"The location, it's absolutely breathtaking. Nothing compares. Sitting on the deck, watching the bird feeder and seeing all the different birds swooping in, the coatis running around. The food is pretty good too but keep in mind, you'll end up having dinner here. Can't recommend driving at night if you want to eat dinner in La Fortuna. The grounds are well-kept and the trails are good. You can easily walk the whole day. Don't forget to go to the Nest for a good view. "

"The room was immaculate, boasting a fantastic balcony with a view of the volcano. The balcony featured a glass side wall and a privacy curtain, also keeping the rain out. While the bathroom was a bit dated, it was clean and included a European bidet. The property itself was truly five-star: well-designed and meticulously maintained. "This hotel was absolutely fantastic, one of the best I have ever been too. The room was beautiful, exactly as pictured. We loved not just the in deck hot tub, but the pools as well and the 98 degree pool bar. Pools are open 24 hours and are very warm, so even in the rain it was amazing. The chocolate cake at the bakery was sublime. The staff was absolutely fantastic. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an absolutely 5* experience."

"The natural springs had been made into 7 pools with varied water temps and were spent 2 full days enjoying the pools and scenery. This resort is about 45 minutes to la Fortuna and a car is a must to get around but the resort is beautiful and extremely nice staff. We will be back!"
