"The room was a a bit on the small side, but we weren't staying in the room all day, so it really wasn't an issue. Convenient to the Volontaires and Pasteur metro stop. You could kind of here the metro, but not to where it would keep you awake ( I am an EXTREMELY light sleeper). The staff was fabulous, I did not get the young ladies name who checked us in, but she was sweet and helpful. Gave us a map, suggestions and recommended a fabulous place to eat Au Roi du Cafe, I recommend it! Finally,...

"Clean and comfortable room with some quirky decor. Lots of restaurants in the area. Very convenient to Montparnasse train station, which was one of the main reasons we chose it. The only negative was that we had a lot of noise from the street at night. Our room was a bit stuffy and it would have been nice to have the window open a bit, but we were hearing some noise even with the window closed. We only had a 2 night stay so this was not a major issue, but I think it would have been a problem...

A good choice of bistros and restaurants of many choices right within 5 minutes.. local, not touristy. Vavin metro, 5 minutes away, and was excellent to get to St Germain, Odeon and le Marais. "We had an excellent stay here! The staff was lovely and made sure we were well taken care of. The building itself is warm and inviting and nestled in a quieter area of Paris. We stayed in the secret passage suite and had a balcony overlooking the area. It was spacious with a large bathroom and tons of space for luggage. Highly recommend staying at the Legend. "
