"Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year."

I imagine would be very hot in summer even with fan provided in room. Walls are very thin, not a problem for me as thankfully my neighbours were quiet but I know other people were not so lucky. Was able to do me a vegan breakfast in the morning which I was happy with. I would stay again if I was in the area and needed a good value place to stay. "

"This is the second time we have stayed at Peckforton Castle On this occasion we had a nicer room with a fabulous view of the front lawn. We visited the wine cellar bar but were disappointed to find that we were unable to pursue a menu over pre dinner drinks , because they were “ printed daily “ it would have been nice to look at it before being seated Dinner in the brasserie was disappointing on this visit and had deteriorated significantly since our previous meal there. "Amazing break! Staff all friendly. Food in main restaurant was amazing and had a great massage at spa by Hannah. Spa was all lovely and clean and not overcrowded. The only thing was the relaxation room was not open after our massage as we chose the last session. The pastries at breakfast were not worth the calories as a bit stodgy. Other dishes were absolutely amazing. Thanks"

"This hotel was an excellent place to stay staff very polite and helpful, rooms spacious and very comfortable, breakfast was excellent but was very busy at 9am on Sunday morning so we had to wait for the food to be replenished. Plenty of parking on site, very competitive prices on the drinks."
