There’s a sweet wrapper in one of the pillows. Cup has a layer of oil in it. Shower drainage allows water to back flow into the dry WC area"
"Nongsa Resort is really lovely, and romantic and family friendly. Wonderful staff and great food. Awesome bar with pool table and a generally really cool atmosphere. Being by the water and the marina is gorgeous, and the hotel team are generally wonderful. I will be back! Great music too. "

Outside the resort are some local communities. Not much to see or places to eat frankly. The beach was also not the tropical turquoise blue water you might expect.

"We had a wonderful stay with a complimentary upgrade to the Studio Executive Room in celebration of my husband’s birthday. The thoughtful room decoration and birthday cake were a lovely touch. The hotel is clean, modern, and perfectly located right next to Grand Batam Mall—making shopping and dining extremely convenient"
"Beautiful hotel, spacious, well renovated, many lighting in the room for different areas, hotel provided ample drinking water and complimentary minibar drinks, friendly front desk. Breakfast was a bit confusing for new guests, long and confusing waiting for services like juice and egg station, they lack clear signage about how to order juice and egg from staff who lack English conversation skills. Location was a bit far from many popular areas. It stated that there was a medical center within the hotel but it was closed when my family was sick and needed to access medical help. The room was locked and the front desk said it would be closed for the whole day. We did not use the service but the hotel offers free shuttle to and from the ferry, that is helpful."
