"The view was great. Mostly wooden floor so it isn't as dusty as those rooms that are fully carpeted. Furnishing and fixtures are relatively new. Toilet had some flies but it's expected due to the climate here. Our shower floor drain was clogged but the technicians cleared it and it was ok. Bring a good umbrella if you are walking to the shops/food establishment outside the resort as the sun can be extremely harsh."

We stayed at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore before coming here and I would say that The Sanchay far surpassed Raffles, which is knowns as one of the top hotels in the world.
