S&A Vondel Park Hotel
The hotel is on a great neighbourhood - highly walkable, restaurants nearby, and a gorgeous park right out the front door. The rooms are very small and basic, but did the job. Staff were very nice. The lobby bathroom was in poor condition but everything else was clean and working.

Park Centraal Amsterdam, part of Sircle Collection
We loved everything about this hotel with two exceptions: 1- if you are a light sleeper, the street noise makes it really hard to sleep well. (If you are a heavy sleeper, no problem at all.) 2- the wifi was super slow. Otherwise, great place to stay. Close to everything. Easy access to the trams. ...

It's very expensive and basic. There is no breakfast included, and you have to pay an additional fee for local taxes when you show up. For that much money, I was expecting at least a spacious room. The rooms are very small.
