"Rua Augusta exceeded our expectations. We were in the England suite. Was the perfect size. Modern. Very, very clean and well laid out. Finishes were high end. Washer/Dryer combo was very convenient and the location was perfect. Will definitely book here again."

"The hotel was perfectly located for my needs...exploring the city as well as visiting the museums!! Important to me was the closeness to the port - as I took a couple ferry/catamaran experiences. Slight cons: road noise (on a busy road, but does settle down later in the evening). Despite these issues, would stay again for an early morning ferry departure from the port."

"Loved everything about this property, including the banana tree which we ate fresh bananas from. My only issues were the extremely small shower and no ac in the bedroom. Once in the shower, it is difficult to move. You are unable to bend over, there's limited space for turning around, or lifting your legs. We eventually figured out a system but it was messy. "We stayed one night before catching an early (6am) flight. The apartment was perfect for our needs. Central so easy to access the old town of Heraklion, and to find restaurants in easy walking distance. The ride to the airport was only about 11 or 12 minutes. It is central, and so there was street noise for much of the night so if you want quiet choose somewhere else."
