The place was excellent, just as we were expecting. Great to stay when traveling alone with kids, it was quiet, safe, clean and within walking distance of almost everything. It was close to a nice public beach, several shops and cultural attractions. Special thanks to Manos for lending us the stroller, it saved our days! Also a plus is the laundry service!

Our experience here was great. I loved the coffee machine and that there was enough coffee provided for our full 4 day stay. Our host Manos was very helpful and friendly. The residence itself was beautiful and we enjoyed breakfast in the garden every morning. Highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Lemon Garden! We had the upstairs room and it was really quiet and comfortable. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the room/at the property as we were only in the area for 2 nights but it was a comfortable place to come back to after days out sight seeing and we loved the kitchen and included dish ware for our breakfasts in the morning. The laundry was handy although be warned there is no dryer so plan accordingly to hang your clothes. We were able to find street parking right close by both days with no issues which was a plus!

We loved the antiquity of the building and the furnishings in the main bedroom with full size antique bed, linen curtains, a smattering of books to read. The patio with it's many beautiful plants, strong lights, table and chairs led for cozy sitting outside. The espresso machine was nice to have use of. Would I come back? Definitely! Thank you, Manis and family. It was a wonderful stay!

I chose this property because it reminded me of a loved one, and it was perfect. Yes, the shower is small, but I would not trade my stay for a bigger shower or luxury hotel. Manos was very nice as well. He was responsive and recommended some great restaurants. I highly recommend.

We loved Lemon Garden! We stayed in the lemon house, it was bigger than we expected and full of amenities. It had so much charm! The outdoor space under the lemon tree was such a lovely place to enjoy a coffee in the morning. The host, Manos, was very quick to reply to our messages, and was absolutely delightful. We would definitely recommend it.

The host for this cute little apartment was very accommodating and helpful. He made sure we had proper parking and were comfortable. I was unable to figure out the oven and he showed up in two minutes to assist. This place is charming and clean. Would recommend for a smaller party.

• The Lemon Garden Residence was a lovely place to land when arriving to Heraklion for the first time. Manos, the owner, went above and beyond and showed the most welcoming hospitality. We were able to text him throughout the duration of our stay, for recommendations, help, etc. (He was kind enough to print our tickets for our bus to Chania - just an example of how hospitable he was!) The hotel itself was lovely. We had a beautiful room. The mini fridge came stocked with cold water and fresh fruit Manos had grown on his Organic farm. The AC worked well, the shower was stocked with Korres products, and it felt plenty spacious for two people. Manos provided a map of the local area, with landmark sights and attractions, and gave us recommendations for restaurants and activities. The garden surrounding the rooms was one of our favorite parts - the plants and lemon trees were beautifully curated and cared for. We felt the listing accurately depicts the rooms, but we wanted to share more photos of the garden because it was too beautiful not to! It was conveniently located - a mere 5 minute walk to desirable attractions, shopping, and restaurants, but the hotel itself was located on a quiet street - it felt like the best of both worlds. • We arrived rather late our first night, but Manos was still happy to meet us, show us our room and the grounds. He recommended a small, local restaurant that was right up the street (turn left when you exit the gate, and it was a favorite.

This is an excellent property with a good size kitchen and apartment sized fridge. The owner met us at the residence and showed us around and helped us find a place to park our rental car. There is lots of free street parking available. The laundry room is a little building inside the courtyard which was very convenient. There is an excellent market less than a five minute walk away and it's an easy walk into Heraklion.
