"This hotel is very well managed, the staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel and grounds are clean and in very convenient location."

"Beautiful property! Staff excellent. Out room was right across from smoking area. Wish I had known. Coffee maker not working. Other than that it was fantastic."

"The hotel is ideally located, just outside Pontocho Alley and within easy reach of shopping, restaurants and Nishiki Market. It is modern, with spacious, comfortable rooms – a welcome change from the smaller rooms we experienced in Tokyo. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide selection of both Japanese and Western options. Kyoto Station is around 15 minutes away by metro or a short taxi ride. Overall, a great base for exploring Kyoto!"

"Very spacious room for Japanese standards. Location is perfect for visiting Kyoto."
