"Very nice stay. What a stunning building and original features. The room size was amazing too. A little dated but let’s be honest, it’s an old building! Staff were really friendly and the use of the leisure facilities is great. Only thing missing was no air con in the room and no fan, I likely could have asked for one but would have been better to have one in the room ready. "

"Overall it was really good. "Great service and hotel was well equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Good location for the metro centre and easy to get to A1 and surrounding areas. Leisure facilities are good- swimming pool and sauna/steam and gym. Sunday was overrun with kids jumping in and couldn’t swim at all. "Room was very warm. Had to use provided desk fan to keep temp at tolerable level. Couldn’t leave the window open overnight due to street noise from the clubs and bars near by. "This is our third stay at the hotel, but our first stay in a corner balcony room. The room itself was spacious and clean. However, as with previous stays, the balcony was absolutely plastered with bird muck, leaving the seats unusable. There were also no cushions on the seat outdoors, or in the room that we could find. It might be handy now we’re having drier warmer weather, to maybe have them available in the room. We stayed here last week in a different balcony room and we had the same issue...
