"Staff were friendly and helpful. Room and property were clean. Biggest downside was the private bathroom in our room had a sizeable gap where the door was supposed to latch, the bathroom door did not latch, and we found the translucent glass for the bathroom to be uncomfortable. "

"The venue was value for money. It was a walkable distance from Waverley station, Princes road (with a small bag or no luggage). The staff were helpful and obliging. Meals on site were adequate. "

"Hotel was in convenient location, parking not too far away, room and bathroom were nice nice but bed was just a murphy-bed and very hard, the kitchenette had good equipment and nice size fridge, useful laundry facilities on the liwer floor. Few things didn’t work (light on bathroom mirror, towel warmer, a door hinge was broken and some coat hooks were placed in a crazy spot -needs some maintenance!)"

"**Review:** We had an amazing stay at this hotel with Laura as our wonderful host. The location was perfectly situated in New Town, with everything comfortably close and within walking distance. On our first day, the hosts kindly circled must-visit areas on the map, making it easy for us to explore, even with our 5-year-old. The Mavyn Cafe on the first floor was a gem, opening early with fantastic coffee and pastries. I highly recommend trying the bramble and lavender loaf! Whenever we needed...

"The hotel is beautiful inside . My room was lovely and spotless . The hotel was clean . Most of staff at checkout are task oriented and their attitude does not reflect the level of service I’d expect in this prestige hotel therefore I will never be back . Also a hammering noise at 10 pm that went on for a good twenty mins wasn’t welcome . The waiting staff were very polite and friendly unlike the reception staff . "

"I and my wife stayed over Christmas 2018 for 3 nights. All is fine. Just too small bed. Housekeeping service always forgot to put such things as Water, Shower Gel, Shampoo into the room. Breakfast is a kind of Continental one which are just bread and cold cuts. Staffs are all nice and friendly. Hotel and Room Condition is good. Location is perfect. "

"This hotel is great. Friendly professional staff. They always try to accommodate your needs. Very busy at breakfast time but lots of tables with good selection of food. Service excellent.
