So close to the castle and the Royal mile, we particularly enjoyed the livingroom and kitchen space. The breakfast buffet was so good the first day that we ate there all three mornings! The staff were all warm and helpful - an all around great place to stay!

Love the style of the property and everything was clean. Lovely bar area. For the price we paid, nearly £400 per night, I wouldn't have expected to have to shuffle down the bed to get out as one side was against a wall. It is overpriced for what it is too. Have paid the same price in London for much better accommodation.

First, no room service. Second, incredibly small room. Third, thin walls and floors. Fourth, there are 3 drawers for clothes and a tiny closet , impossibly small storage for a stay over one night. On the good side the staff was charming and polite and it's close to Edinburgh castle.

I really can’t say enough about the staff at this hotel. They were beyond helpful with every single thing we needed, or question we asked, and they were all so kind. The rooms were very clean and amenities were great. Staying here really enhanced our entire experience in Scotland; highly recommend!
