This photo is taken from the Riedweg. It's great for sunset and blue hour photos since it allows to frame both the village and the Matterhorn.

Took this during a trip to Switzerland a few years back. Someone had made some rock piles, and I liked the contrast of them with the matterhorn in the background.

I took this in Zermatt, Switzerland on May 29th :). This was taken on the train from Gornergrat to Zermatt center. So the map location is only approximate.

I had a great, short trip to Switzerland after a likewise trip to Madeira and Lisbon! And this day trip to see Matterhorn being the final day. Matterhorn being one of the most epic mountains in all of Europe and also one of the highest. It stands at 4,478 m (14,692 ft) and really does look it!
