"The beach here is nice however the overall experience, staff, and amenities leave much to be desired. Upon arrival as were asked if we were interested in upgrading to a family suite, which we declined thinking the original room we had booked would fit our needs. When we arrived at the room the ceiling was leaking and the room smelt of mold. The shower was also open to the rest of the room through clear glass, making for an awkward situation being we were there with our fifteen year old daughter. When my husband went back to the front desk it became apparent the gentleman working was wanting to make a cash deal to be paid directly to himself in order to move us to a better room. He completed a form saying we had complained about the room, pocketed the few hundred dollars he charged us, and we were able to move to a much larger room without a leak. It was very apparent that the employees were only interested in receiving compensation from guests and were not otherwise interested in creating a welcoming or positive experience. "

"For an 8 year old hotel there are signs of wear. Ie, very loose toilet seat, hardware for closet knobs loose. Staff was fairweather. Some were not warm and appeared to be unhappy while others were exemplary. Wi-fi great. Amenities were decent. Restaurants above average. Carlos our concierge was exceptional. Entertainment crew engagaging."

"Zoetry Augua is a very beautiful, serine resort with Caribbean vibes, lush green landscaping throughout, pools overlooking the private beach, clean comfortable spa like rooms with bottles of wine waiting for you inside, this resort has less than 100 rooms, it will not be crowded which allows the friendly yet professional staff to offer more personalized attention as they pamper you from the minute you arrive on site, your personal concierge makes sure the staff attends to your every need. The restaurants are wonderful and accommodating with many healthy meals to choose from, poolside swim up bars, your favorite beverages delivered to you while soaking in the sun on the private beach, the spa and health club are a short walk from wherever you are. This was our first time to Zoetry, we did not know what to expect, we would either find out it was amazing or they had had a very good photographer for their advertisements, we were pleasantly surprised to find it was everything and more, we can’t wait to return. "

"Great one stop stay with all amenities. You don’t have to leave the resort if you don’t want to. Staff could be friendlier. They don’t all say hello how are you when you walk past them. Customer service is very important. You people make our stay memorable or not. Great entertainment every night. "

"I went with a group of my friends. It was a beautiful and clean hotel. The staff were absolutely incredible and seemed very genuine The staff truly made our entire vacation so wonderful. In terms of safety, my biggest concern planning a trip to the DR was finding a resort in which I felt safe at (I had to do a lot of digging to convince my mom haha). I am happy to report that I felt safe the ENTIRE time at Wyndham. It is a very family oriented resort, I would highly recommend it to families. Although I went with a group of friends in college, we still had a wonderful time and there are things to do for people of all ages. The food was good and there was a wide variety of options. Overall I highly recommend! 10/10!"
