The covers my full stay felt as if they where wet and the first couple nights sheets where dirty ! My room wasn’t properly set up at arrival ! Was not provided toothbrushes nor toothpaste && tub was dirty had to beg someone for over an hr in a half to come clean it
Our room was in very poor condition. It was the Presidential 2 bedroom suite and was expensive. We were expecting something so much better (doors that closed, toilets that flushed, ceilings that did not leak, etc.).
The staff was unprofessional and really not helpful. They never wanted to help you when things in the room were broken or didn’t work. The swim up pool was dirty and staff weren’t friendly. I felt they cater to white people and not color people.
we stayed in building 16 with a swim up pool and the room was great and clean. Angela was our expedia concierge and she was amazing. She got us reservations every night and was always messaging me to see if we needed any snacks in the room or absolutely anything. Our stay was great and despite bad reviews it was perfect. Food was great for what it was, it’s a buffet at an all inclusive . The restaurants were great Hunter and Rio brazilian grill was great. The lazy river swim up pool was the best part, the servers in there like miguel and joaquin where the absolute best. Would recommend 10/10
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so unbelievably bad I had to warn others. From start to finish, this resort was a disaster.
Check-in was a nightmare, taking over 2 hours with zero communication or urgency from the front desk. No refreshments, no apology — just standing in line exhausted after travel.
The room? Disgusting. It was filthy and clearly not well maintained. Stains on the furniture, grime in the bathroom, and worst of all — bugs crawling around the room. I even saw bugs near the buffet food, which was absolutely inedible anyway. Cold, tasteless, low-quality slop that they call “gourmet.”
I had a sofa bed in my room, but no pillow, no blanket. I requested them immediately, and after being told they’d “send it right away,” I waited FOUR HOURS. No one ever came. Just zero accountability or effort from staff.
Speaking of which — customer service is horrendous. You’re treated like an inconvenience rather than a guest. Staff either don’t understand your request or simply ignore it.
The entire resort feels neglected, dirty, and overwhelmed. I’ve stayed at many all-inclusives and this was by far the worst.
Avoid at all costs. Spend your money elsewhere — anywhere but here.

Check in was a nightmare. Room wasn’t ready until 2 hours after check in. When you sit around the pool it’s impossible to get anyone to order a drink. The rooms need to be updated as far as paint & fixing the cleaniness of the bathrooms & showers. Found a cockroach in my sisters shower & a dead mouse outside of a restaurant we were eating at.

When we arrived everything was fine, everything started when we got to the room, the first night we slept without air conditioning, we reported it all the time and there was never a solution, the day before they told me it's not that they need to change the air conditioning the day before we left, it's disrespectful, there weren't enough umbrellas at the pool, the prices were more expensive than in the United States, the customer service was terrible in all aspects, we were a family of 9 people, there is much more to tell but I'm going to generalize it was horrible

La comida en el Buffet principal no fue la mejor, recomiendo el de la playa.
El lazy River es lo mejor del hotel.
Would not go there again. Lack of staff, you had to wait for everything and the food was terrible. The restaurants had good food but they were all booked by the time we arrived to schedule for our family. There was limited entertainment and not much to do at night…
The staff service was excellent, they really made the difference, specially Angela and Carmelo. We hope they greet us in our next visit.
The hotel is great, if we decide to travel again to RP, this hotel will be one of our options.
