Exploring the largest aquarium in North America can be an all day event. There are so many amazing animals to see and even a dolphin show. #blue
We love exploring old cemeteries. The historic Oakland Cemetery is the final resting place of famous golfer Bobby Jones, whose well wishers have adorned his grave with dozens of golf balls in his memory. Author of Gone with the Wind, Margaret Mitchell is also buried here, as are thousands of confederate soldiers, politicians, businessmen and women ans other notable historical figures.
The parade of aquatic life that was part of the Ocean Voyage Exhibit of Atlanta's Georgia Aquarium was entirely mesmerizing. My husband and I sat for at least 15 minutes watching one species after the other effortlessly float by in the largest aquarium habitat in the world (6.3 million gallons of seawater). Arrive early to make the most of all this suburb site has to offer.
