The Riva is a broad and buzzing, palm-lined esplanade with numerous lively bars and cafés, as well as oceanfront benches. It’s a popular gathering spot during the day and there is always something happening here at night too. 2. Bacvice Beach

3. Diocletian's Palace

Diocletian’s Palace is home to some of the most remarkable Roman ruins on earth. Once a retirement home for a powerful emperor, this ancient fortress has evolved into Split’s old town.
