"This is a hip, nice, clean hotel that also works for people who might not be that hip and cool. I really just want a comfortable quiet place to stay when I come to NY but love the vibe and you can have both at the ACE Brooklyn. If you want to have a drink amongst both the Brooklyn locals and visitors from all over you can pop downstairs to the bar--which is always busy. There's a wonderful workspace where you can do some work with a coffee shop steps away(also very busy). The only problem is...

"The room and overall stay was good. The bartender GiGi was awesome as well. We received the room directly in front of the elevator. It got loud at times. However, the only inconvenience is there is no onsite parking if you’re renting or driving. The parking they provided closed early so we were unable to park. Also, there is no on street parking nearby as told by the receptionist at the front desk."

"Cons The “cafe” and “bar” are pitiful. The room was not cleaned every day. On day three, I called the front desk because I had no clean towels and the trash was overflowing and they told me “our policy is to clean rooms every day, however, to insure a visit from housekeeping, guests must call each day and specifically request one.” That is absurd. Half of the electronics charging ports did not work. The TV remote stopped working in the evening, replacement remote/batteries were not...

"The front desk was amazing. They were accommodating, friendly and very helpful. Our television wasn’t working when we got there and Julio came to the room and was terrific. He went above and beyond to help fix the problem. He was so friendly. He deserves a raise!"

"Hotel lobby was nice and upper floors were clean. No doorman to help with the luggage. Rooms were small and dark but clean. Changed rooms, the first room had one window that faced a wall. The second room was fine. "

"No room service. Bar with very limited menu (not kid friendly). Some front desk staff was a little standoffish but most very friendly. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms in the north tower could use some upgrading. Good room size. Great location. Very close to DUMBO."
