On check in the staff were really very good. They were informative, efficient and made us feel that nothing would have been too much trouble.
The whole property was well maintained and is in a great place to explore central London (between the Strand and Covent Garden)."

Regarding staff and service, I rated them 4 out of 5 stars. Two issues: we did not have an iron in the room, so I called reception and was told they would bring me one up right away. After ten minutes, no one showed up so I called again and they told me they were bring one up...
"Loved the Clermont. Location by multiple tube stations, the Thames and Trafalgar Square is amazing. Beautiful Victorian hotel that has been updated. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Front desk people are helpful and excellent. Would definitely stay again. "
"We stayed in a city king room. The king bed was very comfortable. The AC worked well and we were able to crack open the windows slightly which was also welcome given the nice cool London air and relatively quite neighborhood of this hotel. Daily housekeeping service was awesome as was the mini fridge and selection of teas and coffees in the room. We had a room with both a bath and a shower. The bathtub was deep and spacious enough for two! Awesome place to stay!!! "
