"Good location, excellent and helpful staff. Our room had lots of space and a good shower and bathroom counter to get ready but poor lighting for doing hair/makeup. Having a kitchen area was great and the bed was comfortable with lots of extra cushions. We liked staying in the gothic quarter near las Rambla and walkable to other attractions. Would recommend this historic hotel."

"Thoma who coordinate my luggage and taxi was terrific and 5 star service. Checking in and out smooth, 5 star.The food was delicious. However, the molten chocolate dessert took close to 45 minutes and was horrible. Much too sweet badly baked and with half a tea spoon of crème fresh. I complained to the waiter. Suggested that he bring it back for the chef to taste as he should be aware of what is leaving his kitchen. It made the dinner experience a disappointment and certainly not what to expect...
