"I stayed 5 nights at Loisir Hotel Classic Garden in May 2026 and had a very disappointing experience. The laundry machines were unreliable: after 2 hours in the dryer, my clothes were still damp, forcing me to hang them in my small room for two nights. Some clothes were also damaged and stretched out. At checkout, staff offered no meaningful compensation beyond refunding the coins used for the machines. Because of the unreliable laundry facilities and unhelpful response from staff, I would strongly recommend choosing another hotel."

"Traveled with families. We booked 3 rooms. Pros- rooms are bigger than average rooms in Japan. Hotel located right across the street from Kyoto station. Cons- hotel needs a remodel. Check-in process was not very good. They have you check in at a kiosk and if it didn’t go through you’ll have to stand in line again for the lobby receptionist. Rooms are too out dated. Beds are not firm and comfy. Bed is hard like floors. There was a couple of blood stains on the inside of the shower curtain in our bathroom. I would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to my friends and family."

"The hotel location was perfect since it’s less than a 5 min walk from Kyoto’s main train station. The breakfast was wonderful with a perfect blend of traditional Japanese cuisine and American options. The milk bread is absolutely delicious! Our double room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that the window faced extremely bright stairway lights that were on all night. The curtains didn’t block out the light on the sides which was right where our head lay on the bed. Aside from that the room and hotel was great. "

"Hotel was convenient across the street from a train station and just 3 stations away from the main shopping area. Room was clean and staff were very friendly. The hot bath at level 1 was really great especially after a day's of walking."

"We had a wonderful stay at THE BLOSSOM KYOTO. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, and the space was designed and utilized very well, making it feel both comfortable and functional. What really set this hotel apart from others was the complimentary snack corner on the lower level. It offered free snacks and drinks including popsicles, nuts, coffee, soft drinks, and a variety of Japanese snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch after a long day exploring Kyoto. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Kyoto!"

"Room was very clean - king bed was extra wide. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay, laundry was just ok, one laundry machine on our floor. Shared iron/iron board on some floors which wasn’t ideal. No delivery service for extra towels had to go down and get some myself. Also not ideal. Overall nice hotel "

"The location was perfect. Centrally located and within walking distance to most area landmarks and sites. Room size was perfect for 3 with new furnishings. One of the nicer places we stayed on our 10 day trip."

"The hot springs spa was amazing and very useful. It had different options for you to soak in from very hot to not so hot. I loved the hot pool with the cold bar to rest your head on. It made the experience that much more exciting. Overall very good time there and will definitely come back."
