Hotel Papa Whale
Lovely hotel, Rooms are a good size and great location. My only issue was the noise from other guests as there was constant slamming doors and talking loudly (walls are not sound proof). Take earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

WESTGATE Hotel
Staff was great. Very helpful with everything. Fun part of Taipei to be in. Right off the red line, exit 6. Easy to get to everywhere in the city. Good breakfast buffet. Small space being in Taipei but very nice room. Would stay again.
