"Couldon Lodge is a lovey old place, full of character. The gardens are huge and the outlook across them and the fields beyond very relaxing, especially on a nice afternoon, when you've returned from work. The bed was comfortable and clean. The staff were great and the breakfast was wonderful. We stayed in Room 5, which is quite spacious (though on the top level; all stairs).
