Great location. Lovely rooms as I’ve stayed in the hotel many times. Comfortable and clean. Gorgeous toiletries to use. Small car park but parking near by if you can’t park at the hotel but I’ve only had this issue once or twice. Highly recommended hotel

We were only staying overnight, so didn't get very long to explore, but I really liked this hotel - a lot of character and the staff were very helpful. Only slightly marred by a faulty fire alarm that went off twice in the night, but not the staff's fault and we were reassured that a fix was underway. I would definitely come back again.

Very quirky old hotel with a lot of history to the hotel as well. Staff were very helpful and courteous and were a joy to deal with. Public areas could do with some attention as there were evidence of dust and cobwebs visible during our 5 day stay. No one paying attention to it except for someone writing dust with their finger to highlight the fact. Obviously it was being observed by others! Some tlc to the decor needed although the bedroom we stayed in was quite pleasant. We did enjoy our stay but some attention to some areas needed.
