"Wonderful location"

"My overall trip was good. I have stayed at the Terra Nova on several occasions and it had always been immaculate, however I noticed a few flaws on this trip. The window curtains had a few ring top hooks missing which caused some parts of the curtains to hang loose preventing full closure. Some of the chairs in the lobby could use some upholstering and the pool is never available for the guests to use because there’s always a private function taking place on property. Otherwise a good stay. "

"The hotel is very clean, my room was spacious and really comfortable, staff were very professional, and the breakfast was really good with continental options at the buffet. I loved that there was a Jamaican breakfast option prepared to order. Nice rooftop dining was a vibe! Only cons are getting to the parking lot was tricky with the really close corners and tiny spots. And the pool…or lack there of was disappointing. It’s more for esthetics than practical use. Didn’t have a lounging vacation feel. More of a commuter hotel, business travel or 1-2 nights stay. Overall enjoyed my stay! Good location."

"This property is excellent. The staff very attentive, friendly and helpful. My friend was very excited about the place. The check in clerk was not the most friendly and was more rigid than was necessary? But the other staff and their friendly attitude made up for and feelings I had about the start of the encounter. Again, this place will be one of my go to when I am in Kingston "

"We stayed here for four days and the pool was closed for the first three days. When we asked about it the staff were dismissive. We felt like every time we asked for anything, we were being scrutinized (there were three of us and two sets of towels and when we asked for another set they wouldn’t give us one without being thoroughly questioned even though we booked for two adults and a child). We also had to ask numerous times to get our room cleaned. This is not a place we will stay again."

"The room was very comfortable and clean. Shame they only give one coffee capsule for two people though! Food was very average and the whole hotel lacks warmth and character. "

"The facility was clean and pleasant. It was my first stay and a very good first impression. I did not have breakfast nor used the parking facility. The restuarant and front desk staff was pleasant and helpful."

"Room was disgustingly dirty, the accent chair had something that looked like old vomit running down the front that was never cleaned, the room and furniture was overused with very obvious damages that should’ve been either replaced or updated. The kitchen/Breakfast area was relocated to another part of the hotel and the food pots were placed on hot plates that were not turned on therefore the food was not being properly heated and just sitting there building bacteria Not to mention the lobby being under complete construction and I was never notified! I changed my booking immediately and got a refund. For a Marriott hotel this was a nightmare! "

"Property needs to be updated. Old fixtures and would do good with some painting. Staff is ok - polite , nothing to rave about. Restaurant is good- breakfast was interesting they count how many pieces of food is on the plate and for some reason the food is always cold even though you just place the order. Need also better lighting in rooms especially bathroom."
