"Average Red Sea hotel. Novotel el Borg Cairo is far superior. However, good rooms. Some excellent reception staff who compensate for Egyptian staff questionable capability for quality service. For Red Sea tourism this would be a very an acceptable two week package stay. In this case- it was a previous night stay for early flight which was extremely convenient ."

"Checkin was disappointing , not accommodating at all and cranky every time we had to deal with the front desk. It would not hurt to smile at the guests. We have been here 3 other times and seems to be getting worse. Very disappointed. "

"JAZ Belvedere has got to be one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Lovely staff, spacious rooms, amazing pool and beach. Several activities such as Zumba on the beach, kids disco in the evenings, a kids club with crafts and games. Food for vegetarians wasn’t the greatest as part of the buffet however luckily the chef made sure we were fed well and cooked suitable dishes everyday. Breakfast was the best with lots of options from eggs to various types of bread, lots of fresh fruit and veg too. A pasta bar everyday during lunch and dinner was great too. Our first time in Egypt and we will definitely come back again. "

The hotel is also very clean, and the staff are polite and welcoming. However, the vegetarian options are extremely limited. The only choices available were grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes, and rice. There was a pasta station, but for an all-inclusive resort, you would expect a much wider variety of vegetarian dishes. Communication was also challenging at times. Many staff members struggled to understand English and often relied on AI to communicate. Even something as simple as requesting a cup of oat milk became unnecessarily difficult. Overall, the hotel is visually impressive with great servic, but the limited vegetarian options and communication barriers made the experience less seamless than expected. "
