"A beautiful property steeped with history. We enjoyed our room, our view of the loch behind and time at the bar and in the dinning room. The staff was kind and friendly. The food was excellent. It was the perfect stop on our journey through the Scottish Highlands. Would happily stay here again."

"Lovely place to stay, the staff are brilliant. So pleasant and helpful."

"Delux room with Loch views was amazing. Comfortable bed and linens. Well kept furnishings. Enjoyed the window facing chairs for hours of counting waves. Very walkable to town. I was without a car. Flat walk to shops and restaurants."

"First off, this is not a hotel, it's lots of apartments. There are no onsite Highland Club restaurants, room service food or anything like it. The apartments are full on, proper homes with kitchens so bring some food, even if it's just basic stuff. For food shopping and eateries you can walk into the town in a few minutes and get something to eat. The pub (The Lock Inn) was pretty good. There is a restaurant in the grounds of the house which provided food which was edible but you wouldn't...

"Lovely old house, the bedrooms were warm and cosy and the breakfast was exceptional"

"Linda is the perfect host, very welcoming and friendly. Exceptionally clean, great breakfast. I would 100% return"

"Superb boutique hotel. We couldn’t have had a warmer welcome from Yas and Alison. Stunning location at the side of Loch Ard. Hot tub looks out over the loch. Fabulous breakfast. Evening meal also great. Be sure to taste their home hot smoked salmon, the best ever. We stayed 2 nights and wished we had booked for longer. Thanks for the best stay of our holiday."
