Great location

Great hotel. Might be 3 star hotel but 5 stars for staff and 5 star location. Rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast included in the price of room. Location is excellent being a few minutes walk from Susukino station and shopping area. Metro station right outside the hotel door. Would stay at this hotel again for sure.

Hotel at good location. Near to but not far from the more crowded area. About 5-7min walk to Susukino station and nice food. Hotel staff friendly, room is clean with bathtub and hotel provide free breakfast (simple and nice) and drinks during the day. It’s a small hotel, fuss free and straightforward check-in and check-out process.

Family trip

We like the hotel, very convenient. Next to subway station, the airport bus stop about 15mins walk. You can go to airport either by train or bus; Odori park about 20mins walk - there is Sapporo summer beer festival now: food and beers, so fun. Tanukikoji shopping street around 7mins walk, a lot of shopping, food. Convenient store 2mins walk from the hotel. Hotel room isn’t too small, we had 3 beds, clean, has everything we need for the room. Breakfast wasn’t a lot of choices but it’s free. Price and location are great, we will stay here again when we visit Sapporo.

The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful, and the facility was clean. Our included breakfast featured a nice variety of foods. The room itself (double) was very uncomfortably tiny. There was literally no place to put any of our belongings, besides a tiny cutout near the door (1' x 1.5'). I ended up stacking my bags and belongings at the foot of the bed, while my wife stacked hers beside it. The bed was in the corner, so there was no way for me to get off of it without crossing over my partner. Again, the hotel is nice, clean, well-situated, and recommended. Just be aware that our room was tiny, even by Japan standards.

The hotel is ok: the rooms are small with very little storage. You essentially have to leave everything in your suitcase. Toiletries are also limited: no lotion for instance. I struggled quite a bit with keeping the room warm enough: the Air Conditioning would go on standby when you left the room (as you remove your key card from the slot at the entrance). I understand the desire to conserve energy, I appreciate the sentiment but noone wants to go back to a chilly room at the end of a chilly, snowy/wet day! I bypassed the system by inserting another card and leaving it on (at a low setting) all day but I don’t think I should have had to do that. (And even still, the AC seemed to randomly start blowing chilly air when the room wasn’t that warm to begin with) Also, note that the fridge will be set at “1” (meaning practically OFF). Turn that sucker up if you want your stuff chilled. Now, the breakfast buffet is indeed pretty good, though I gather that other hotels offer similarly good breakfast buffets. Overall, it’s an economical option with little-frills service. It’s fine.
